History made and MECA alumni pride on full display! 💜
Led by Samara Martinez, a MECA Mariachi alumna, Humble Independent School District & Humble High School’s Mariachi Los Tres Gatos has advanced to the UIL Mariachi State Competition for the first time in school history after earning a sweepstakes rating at the UIL Coastal Bend Mariachi Competition.
This milestone is a powerful reminder of what happens when young musicians are supported, mentored, and rooted in cultural tradition. We are incredibly proud of Samara for continuing to lead with excellence and of these talented students for carrying mariachi forward with passion and discipline.
