Visual Arts

MECA’s visual arts classes provide students a forum for hands-on creative expression activities.  Students participate in broad fine arts activities that encourage youth to explore their interests and imagination.

Arts classes incorporate numerous techniques and media to draw, paint and sculpt.  In addition, students may participate in special themed projects.  The Visual Arts department also offers mosaic classes for all ages; mosaic art uses stained glass pieces and found objects to create both abstract and distinct images
