Another summer camp is in the history books. 2020 was definitely more work than normal but the time and effort was well worth it to keep our campers safe. We hosted a little over 60 students, that's about half the number we usually register. We achieved safe social distancing practices, we spent extra time disinfecting rooms, tools, and common areas between classes, and we allotted 10 minutes for hand washing each hour. We are now planning to implement similar techniques for our after school program.
Registration begins August 17th and will be by appointment only. Email or call Lizeth Gonzalez, MECA Registrar, to reserve a time on Monday through Thursday between 3 and 7 PM.
